SCICON Hipo 550 Camo Saddle Bag Review
VIDEO: The Scicon Hipo 550 Camo saddle bag adds a dash of color to carry on board essentials for most rides, is easy to mount and snaps off to take with you at the coffee stop. All this can be yours for just $49!

It's offered in 4 snazzy colors - army camo, red, fluo yellow, and bright green, I chose the Fluo yellow to coordinate with the details on a project Cipollini MCM (scroll down for a peek).

Let's roll that video...

It's made from a main material of tough Cordura, features a beefy zipper, and comes with two built in tires levers, and an easy to use clamping system.

The bag attaches to the saddle rails via Scicon's "Roller 2.1"system, which lets you clamp the mount in with a few easy turns of a large knob. Then the actual bag attaches with a pressure fit twist clamp. Easy peasy - and even easier to remove it if you want it with you at the coffee stop.

It's called the "Hipo 550" because it offers 550cl of storage - enough space for me to cram in a long stem tube, air canister, two extra levers (big ones from Pedros because I seem to break em a lot), a handy sticky patch kit from Park Tools, and an airchuck from Genuine Innovations that I built at Interbike.
