Stage Report: Stage 19 of the Tour de France was neutralised by hail on the route. The times were taken at the top of the Col de l’Iseran. Egan Bernal and Simon Yates were in the lead. The next group behind with Geraint Thomas, Steven Kruijswijk and Emanuel Buchmann, were more than a minute down. The yellow jersey, Julian Alaphilippe, was at more than two minutes.

Stage Report: In another day of attacks and counter attacks in the Pyrenees, Simon Yates (Mitchelton-Scott) took his second stage in this Tour. Behind the Englishman there were fireworks as Thibaut Pinot (Groupama-FDJ) attacked again to take a some time back. Julian Alaphilippe (Deceuninck - Quick-Step) suffered, but held his yellow jersey by 1:35 going into the second rest day.

Stage Report: Just when it looked like Geraint Thomas (Ineos) would be riding into the horizon on the Tourmalet for the yellow jersey, the Welshman performed his own 'Brexit' and was dropped by the group of favourites, including Deceuninck - Quick-Step's Julian Alaphilippe. Thibaut Pinot (Groupama-FDJ) put in the stage 14 winning jump in the final metres for a French double.

Il Lombardia Photo Gallery: The 'Race of the Falling Leaves' brought the curtains down on the 2018 cycling season in fine style with Thibaut Pinot (Groupama-FDJ) giving France a much needed Monument win. The finalé was deserved of the 'Classic' label with attacks aplenty on the steep climbs around Como. We've put together the best images from Il Lombardia 2018 photo gallery by Cor Vos and his team.

France's Thibaut Pinot prevailed in the 112th incarnation of the Giro di Lombardia to bring down the curtain on a remarkable cycling season. The Groupama-FDJ leader held on to the wheel of Italy's Vincenzo Nibali in the terrible Muro di Sormano before dropping "the Shark of Messina" in the race's penultimate climb.

Stage Report: Thibaut Pinot (Groupama-FDJ) won again at the Vuelta as he profited from Simon Yates' work to go clear at the top. The Brit in the Mitchelton-Scott team put another few nails in the GC coffin and now sits 1:38 ahead of a struggling Alejandro Valverde (Movistar). Still one big day to go...

Stage Report: Thibaut Pinot (Groupama-FDJ) made major strides back up the overall classification with a wonderful stage victory on the Lagos de Covadonga. Simon Yates (Mitchelton-Scott) was able to cover every acceleration though and he heads into the final week still in red and looking like one of the strongest riders in the race.
