Race Preview: The last big Classic of the 2019 season (if you ignore Sunday's Paris-Tours), Il Giro di Lombardia, rolls out of Bergamo on Saturday morning for 243 beautiful kilometres of racing to finish in Como. Lombardy is an iconic monument, a race that all pro riders would want in their palmarès. Ed looks at the history, course and who is hot for the win on the shores of Lago di Como.

Worlds Road Race Preview: Sunday sees the biggest one-day race on the calendar hit the roads of Yorkshire and after 280 kilometres we will have a new World champion. A 'Nobody' never wins the Worlds road race, but there have been some surprises over the years. This year's race is wide open and Ed Hood takes a look at who's going to be battling for the rainbow jersey.

Vuelta Stage Report: Philippe Gilbert took his second stage win in the 2019 Vuelta a España. Stage 17 split into echelons causing problems for the GC teams. At the finish it looked like Sam Bennett (Bora-Hansgrohe) had the stage in the bag, but Gilbert swooped past for the win. Nairo Quintana (Movistar) took advantage of making it into the front group to move into second place overall.

Vuelta Stage Report: Deceuninck - Quick-Step's Philippe Gilbert won the twelfth stage of the Vuelta a España with a bold move in the final kilometres. Gilbert was part of a large escape group, the ex-World champion attacked on the steep Alto de Arraiz to solo to the stage victory in Bilbao. The peloton split with the top GC men finishing a couple of minutes for no changes in the overall.
