Ed goes cyclo-cross: Due to being in Cyprus, Ed Hood missed the Gent '6 Days' this year, which also means he missed the regulation Sunday cyclo-cross, the 2019 Belgian trip cross race would have been the DVV Verzekeringen Trofee Flandriencross in Hamme. Not to be outdone, he went to see a local 'cross in Dunfermline, Scotland and was pleasantly surprised.

The 2019 Rockland County Supercross Cup stood out from earlier iterations for two reasons. One was that the weather was consistently good, if unseasonably cold, both days. The second was that teamwork dominated both the women’s and men’s elite fields.

Photo Gallery: Race three in Heather's Italian autumn one-day Classics week, and she has moved north to Varese for the 'Tre Valli Varesine'. A surprising and exciting finalé was taken by Vuelta a España winner, Primoz Roglic and Heather was there for the full Italian race experience.

Worlds Photo Gallery: After the controversy of the Men's Under 23 race, the Dutch Elite Women made amends and took first and second places. Heather Morrison was 'Roadside' to take in the fun at the start and the finish. At least it was dry, no need for those umbrellas!

Worlds Photo Gallery: Day 2 of Heather Morrison's World championships in Yorkshire wasn't the most successful, but it wasn't a great day for the Dutch either! Heather was there on the finish line in Harrogate to take in the action, confusion and, eventually, the joy of the Men's Under 23 World championship race.

Ed Roadside: From the comfort of his 'virtual cafe' Ed Hood hit the Yorkshire roads for his favourite event - The time trial, and better than that - The World elite men's time trial. The best men against the clock lined up in Northallerton for Ed's appraisal. Of course, the star of the day was Rohan Dennis.

OVO Energy Tour of Britain Stage 1 PeloPics: Fresh from his visit to the Vuelta a España, Ed Hood had a more local assignment last weekend - The start of stage 1 of the OVO Energy Tour of Britain in Glasgow. The 70 kilometres from Ed's house to the start of the British Tour was much easier than the 2,000K to the Vuelta salida in Alicante, but it was just as much fun.

PeloPics: The 2019 Vuelta a España presented the competing teams on Thursday in front of a large multi-national crowd in the Spanish resort town of Moraira. The opening event was shown on live TV with all the razzmatazz of a Grand Tour, PEZman Alastair Hamilton was there to take in the fun.
