Ed Hood has run his eye over the UCI results from all around the World and has put together the 'Top Ten' UCI race winners from the season gone, Dylan Groenewegen top... but there are a couple of surprises in there.

Tour Rest Day No.1: Ten days down and it's the 2019 Tour de France first rest day. Ed is in a 'virtual' cafe in the historical town of Albi with a café au lait avec brandy and this morning's copy of L'Equipe. Time to look back over what has been a very good first week in the 'Grande Boucle'.

Stage Report: The longest stage of the 2019 Tour de France came down to a bunch sprint. In a close call, the powerful Dutchman, Dylan Groenewegen (Jumbo-Visma) got the nod from the judges just ahead of Lotto Soudal's Caleb Ewan and points leader, Peter Sagan (Bora-Hansgrohe). Trek-Segafredo's Giulio Ciccone held his overall lead.

Race Report: Fast finishing Dutchman Dylan Groenewegen (Jumbo-Visma) won the Driedaagse Brugge-De Panne. The Jumbo-Visma rider won the bunch sprint at the end of the 200-kilometer Belgian race, beating Fernando Gaviria (UAE Team Emirates) and Elia Viviani (Deceuninck - Quick-Step).

Stage 5 of the Tour of Guangxi went to Dylan Groenewegen (LottoNl-Jumbo), the Dutchman out-sprinted triple stage winner Fernando Gaviria (Quick-Step Floors) and Magnus Cort Nielsen (Orica-Scott). Tim Wellens (Lotto Soudal) still has the overall lead going into the final stage.

Race Report: Dylan Groenewegen has scored two podium places already on stages in the Tour de France this year but he grabbed the best win of his career on the final stage. There were no changes in the overall as Chris Froome secured his fourth Tour title.
