Stage Report: The longest stage of the 2019 Tour de France came down to a bunch sprint. In a close call, the powerful Dutchman, Dylan Groenewegen (Jumbo-Visma) got the nod from the judges just ahead of Lotto Soudal's Caleb Ewan and points leader, Peter Sagan (Bora-Hansgrohe). Trek-Segafredo's Giulio Ciccone held his overall lead.

Stage Report: On the tough finalé of stage 6, Dylan Teuns fought his way over the gravel road to cross La Planche des Belles Filles finish line first. The BahrainMerida rider defeated his Italian co-escapee, Giulio Ciccone (Trek-Segafredo) after an exciting duel. The Italian maybe didn't win the stage, but he captured the yellow jersey from Julian Alaphilippe (Deceuninck - Quick-Step) by 6 seconds.

Race Report: No Gavia on stage 16 of the Giro d’Italia on Tuesday, but there was enough excitement. Vincenzo Nibali threw his cards on the table on the Mortirolo to blow the GC apart, but overall leader Richard Carapaz was still on his wheel. Primož Roglič and Simon Yates lost time. The stage victory went to KOM Giulio Ciccone, who beat Jan Hirt to the line.
