Heather's Photo Gallery: We have all seen the race photos from Saturday's Il Lombardia, but we sent the PEZ 'Secret Weapon' behind the scenes in Lombardy. Heather Morrison was in Bergamo and Como to soak up the atmosphere and capture unique images from the 'Race of the Falling Leaves' at the start and the finish. Here is her PEZ Photo Gallery.

Il Lombardia Photo Gallery: The 'Race of the Falling Leaves' brought the curtains down on the 2018 cycling season in fine style with Thibaut Pinot (Groupama-FDJ) giving France a much needed Monument win. Retro PEZ: This Saturday sees the 111th edition of the Giro di Lombardia, the final Classic of the season and the oldest Autumn race on the calendar. Ed Hood isn't old enough to remember the first edition in 1905, but has had a romantic relationship with the 'Race of the Falling Leaves' for a long time and casts his memory back to his first visit to the Northern Italian race in 2007.

Oct 07, 2013 - The battle between Joaquim Rodriguez and Alejandro Valverde continued in Italy and there were not tears of acrimony or dirty looks as ‘Purito’ came out on top. We have all the action from Lombardia, plus all the other weekend races. Sad news of Amy Dombronski and I’m sure we are all thinking of her family. Get into the EuroTrash Monday with a big coffee.

Race report: It’s always special to see the world champion line up in a pristine rainbow jersey for the Race of the Falling Leaves. OK, we’ve had a wee name change, and the calendar has been tweaked, but still ... Gilbert is looking happy in his new outfit.
