Today's Readers' Rig is from Florida and is a real Classic - A 1989 Greg Lemond. Over the years it has been shod with gears, but now the proud owner, Jeff Ogen, has gone 'fixie' on his steel steed. Campagnolo still plays a big part in Jeff's pride and joy.

We've seen a lot of custom bikes here at Readers' Rigs but not too many that have such a history behind them as David from Oklahoma City's Hans Schneider custom. Through 21 years of ownership this bike has been through a couple of different looks in that time as it's accompanied David to France, Italy, Belgium and more in the early 2000's and is still going strong today.

I don't think today's reader Mitch could disagree with me describing him as somewhat of a Litespeed tragic as his past stable of bikes have included a number of Litespeed steeds. After a chance meeting with the firm's Head Designer and Engineer at the Richmond Worlds there was only one way that this story was ever going to end - a new Litespeed!

This submission is a very sharp looking Eddy Merckx EMX-3 that's a bike with Belgian origins but an Italian heart and is owned by an Asian from Mexico - it doesn't get much more international than that. A fine mix of traditional Campagnolo and modern design KCNC, topped off with a stunning paint job.

The mid 90's was a super time in bike technology and today's Rig is a great example from that era - a double down tubed Colnago Master Bi-Titan decked out with a full Campagnolo set up and period correct components.

The first Euro Cycle Festival took place last weekend in France with plenty of goodtimes and superb roads on the menu. The festival itself is a weekend of cycling celebrations that involved a bike show with new products, test days, a gravel ride, a hill climb TT and a cyclosportive in the snow!
