PeloPic: The 1999 World cyclo-cross championships in Poprad, Slovakia was a classic race. With the Tatra Mountains as the back drop the Dutch riders dominated the early action, but it was the Belgians who came out on top. Mario De Clercq took the rainbow jersey ahead of countryman Erwin Vervecken. The bronze medal went to Dutchman Adri van der Poel, father of top cross men Mathieu and David. Race video bellow:
