Jingle Cross To Bring Three Days of World Class Racing to Iowa
New SCHEELS Junior Devo Cup highlights three full days of amateur racing in Iowa City

Jingle Cross, September 28th-30th, again brings world-class cyclo-cross racing to North America. Known for its challenging course, fun atmosphere, professional and amateur racing along with incredible local hospitality, Jingle Cross delivers three days of action and excitement. The highlight of three days of racing will take place on Saturday as the best riders in the world descend on Iowa City for the second stop in the Telenet UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup. In addition to the World Cup, Saturday will also feature the new SCHEELS Junior Devo Cup.

To support the development of the next generation of riders, the SCHEELS Junior Devo Cup will take place on Saturday, just before the UCI Men's World Cup. With the attention of thousands of fans and spectators, it will be the most significant event in North American Juniors cyclo-cross all year. Awards will be given to the top riders of each division and points will be calculated to determine the best team across all Junior categories.

“Every year we strive to create an exciting, fun atmosphere for racers and families,” said Promoter and Race Director John Meehan. “Jingle Cross has grown into one of the premier cyclo-cross events in the world, and the 2018 edition will be the best yet. We are excited to have three full days of amateur races back on the calendar and look forward to bring a dynamic new event like the Devo Cup to fans in Iowa City.”

Another change to Saturday’s schedule will see the women’s World Cup become the marquee event. The move will help showcase women’s racing and maximize television exposure in Europe. Along with three days of action-packed cyclo-cross races, there will be events for everyone - including the Midwest One Bank Grinch's Single Speed Speedo Spectacular, Northtowne Cycles Krumpit Klimb Challenge and the legendary Doggy Cross sponsored by Nulo.
