PEZ 2011 Holiday Gift Guide #1
It’s December 1st – that can only mean, well, one of a hundred things – but for many, it means the Holidays are on the horizon. At PEZ, we love the Holidays and never want to pass up a chance to look at some cool items that could make great gifts for friends/family/loved ones, or the kind of thing you leave open on your computer to make sure that certain somebody knows what makes your heart sing. Let’s jump in!

Jered Gruber’s Limited Edition Passo Giau Print
Long-time PEZ scribbler, picture taker, and editor of many an article, Jered Gruber, spent the past year covering some of Europe’s biggest and best races and places with his wife, Ashley. The results are beautiful and well worth taking a closer look at over on the duo’s online storefront, Gruber Images.

The Muur van Geraardsbergen – almost exactly a year ago today.

If you’re looking for a knock out image – they’re offering a limited run of 100 prints of the Passo Giau, which was recently selected as THE official image for the 2012 Giro d’Italia.

Each print is numbered and signed and measures a breathtaking 15×36 inches. $100.

If you want to get an idea for what the image looks like a bit bigger – click on this article’s thumbnail for a BIG version. Remember, it looks a lot better in person…three feet wide.

The pictures are going fast, so get in touch with Jered quickly, if you’re interested! jered@pezcyclingnews.com OR – you can use your credit card to buy one at the PEZShop here.

MOOTS Organic Olive Oil
You could be forgiven for thinking handmade titanium before anything else when the name MOOTS comes up, but this holiday season the Steamboat Springs-based company is offering their very own Organic Olive Oil. The Moots-branded, hand pressed extra virgin olive oil comes from the Roccia Viva Orchard in Napa Valley, California.

The orchard has over 500 olive trees and consists of the classic Tuscan varietals, Leccino, Frantoio, Pendolino and Maurino. The trees are farmed organically and harvested manually. This olive oil has the unique distinction of being the only Certified Organic oil from the Napa Valley region.

Tasting Notes: green/grassy, artichoke, nutty, buttery smooth with a medium peppery finish.
