    June 13, 2013 - The juggernaut that is the Tour de France is rumbling toward us at great speed and the team have started naming their hopefuls for the French race. We also have the results, video and anything else from the Tour de Suisse, the Tour de Beauce and the Ster ZLM Toer GP Jan van Heeswijk. Also a lot of great video catch-up’s from the Giro d’Italia and the Dauphiné, plus we visit our own Dr. Cheung in his lab. Basically a very full EuroTrash bag this Thursday morning.

    June 10, 2013 - The Tour de France GC hopefuls are at full gas; the Critérium du Dauphiné finished on Sunday and the Tour de Suisse has another week to go. Chris Froome has put himself in the driving seat with his win in France, but Paris is a long way away. Loads of other stuff with video, results and what the riders are saying. A big coffee for a big EuroTrash Monday.

    Team Saxo-Tinkoff was first in line on today's final stage of Criterium du Dauphine on a mountainous stretch from Sisteron to Risoul where the peloton was challenged with a category 1 uphill finish. In pouring rain, a big break was allowed to get a gap but Team Saxo-Tinkoff put the hurt on the peloton and were reeling in the tenacious escapees at the top of the penultimate climb.

    Martin Checks Out 2nd Tour de France ITT . Omega Pharma - Quick-Step Cycling Team rider Gianni Meersman had one purpose by making an original 24 rider breakaway of a cold, foggy, and rainy Criterium du Dauphine Stage 8: Take the intermediate sprint, and expand his points classification lead.

    Omega Pharma - Quick-Step Cycling Team rider Frantisek Rabon went away with a group of 12 riders, eventually forming a breakaway of 15, in the 139km Criterium du Dauphine Stage 5 on Thursday. However, as the break approached HC climb Montee de Valmorel (12km, 7% average gradient), Rabon was with two other escapees as a select group was forming behind them to chase.

    Tim Wellens has animated the fifth stage in the Critérium du Dauphiné. In the mountain stage from Grésy-sur-Aix to Valmorel a front group of twelve was formed after about ten kilometers, the 22-year-old Lotto Belisol rider was one of them. Imanol Erviti, Tom-Jelte Slagter and Frantisek Rabon were some of his fellow escapees. Three riders, among them leader in the mountain classification Thomas Damuseau, bridged the gap. The group got a lead up to five minutes.

    Team Saxo-Tinkoff's Alberto Contador had a beautiful come-back on today's 139 kilometer long fifth stage of Criterium du Dauphiné to Valmorel where the scene was set for a GC battle on the uphill finish. Several breakaways threatened to steal the full attention during the day but in the end it all came down to Team Saxo-Tinkoff's Alberto Contador and Chris Froome (Sky). In the tight duel, Froome took four seconds on Contador while teammate, Michael Rogers finished fifth and is now fourth overall.

    Kwiatkowski Now 3rd GC. Omega Pharma - Quick-Step Cycling Team rider Tony Martin showed great condition at the 32.5km Stage 4 ITT at Criterium du Dauphine on Wednesday, winning the time trial with a time of 36'55" after also setting the fastest intermediate times.

    Jurgen Van den Broeck

    Past Saturday, on the eve of the opening stage of the Critérium du Dauphiné, Jurgen Van den Broeck took time to chat with the press. He looked forward to his big goal: the Tour de France. The Dauphiné is a last test. If he can win a stage in this race, like two years ago, he will definitely grab that chance. Considering the most toughest part of the 100th Tour lies in the third week, he wants to be in top condition later than usual.

    Omega Pharma - Quick-Step Cycling Team has announced the selection for Critérium du Dauphiné, a 1120.5km stage race from June 2nd to June 9th. the first stage begins in Champery, and the last in Risoul. There is one time trial for this race.

    Thanks to a wildcard, NetApp-Endura will be competing for the first time at the Critérium du Dauphiné, which starts next Sunday. The tour is considered one of the most important races on the international racing calendar. The 65th edition of the Dauphiné kicks off in Switzerland. All together, the tour will include eight stages, covering 1,117 km through southeastern France. This is the seventh wildcard for a WorldTour race, which Team NetApp - Endura received so far this season.
