After experiences in Slovenia and Switzerland, Area Zero D’Amico has returned to racing in Italy. On Thursday, March 6th, the team will take part in a top level race like the Gran Premio Città di Camaiore. This edition of the Tuscan classic promises to be special, with no less than 9 World Tour formations and the finest professionals lining up at the starting line.
A little accident for Gianluca Mengardo. On Sunday, March 2, at GP Lugano, the Area Zero D’Amico rider was involved in a crash approximately 10 km from the finish.
It's time for Area Zero D’Amico to get back into the mix. The brand new, all Italian continental team led by team managers Ivan De Paolis and Andrea Tonti had a fantastic season debut at the GP Costa Etruschi, where they made it to the podium with a third place by Andrea Pasqualon. Now the next objective is called Trofeo Laigueglia. The 51st edition of this historic race is set for Friday, February 21st.
Area Zero Pro Team has officially announced the names of the 8 riders who will participate in the GP Costa degli Entruschi in Donoratico (Livorno) on Sunday, February 2nd. The race will mark the debut for the new, all-Italian continental formation. The riders are: Paolo Ciavatta, Fabio Chinello, Silvio Giorni, Gianluca Mengardo, Andrea Pasqualon, Simone Petilli, Marco Tecchio and Stefano Tonin. Sports directors Massimo Codol and Andrea Tonti will be leading the squad from the team car.
