Chris Opie showed that his Tour of Britain preparation is going to plan by taking an excellent 4th place in the G.P. Marbriers yesterday. Opie was involved in the action throughout the day, slipping into a move shortly after his teammate Tom Moses was pulled back on the fourth 10km lap of the 160km race.
Rapha Condor JLT took an important team win in the third round of the Tour Series in Peterborough last night. The Men in Black had gone into the second week of the series as overall leaders, following Graham Briggs’ individual win in Barrow last Thursday.
Tom Moses came within a whisker of taking a brilliant victory in the Lincoln Grand Prix yesterday, after a depleted Rapha Condor JLT team delivered him to an excellent position in the final of Britain’s most coveted one-day race.
Rapha Condor JLT’s Tom Moses scored a brilliant solo win in the East Midlands CiCLE Classic yesterday. Moses, who won a stage and wore yellow at the recent Tour of Normandy, was delighted to take victory on home soil, in one of the toughest races in the country.
Rapha Condor JLT’s Graham Briggs became the first ever British winner of the Tour du Loire et Cher, after he successfully defended the lead he took on the third stage all the way to the finish on Sunday.
