Heading out of Auburn for a long day…

The crowds were big and enthusiastic, as always.

In Ione, the day’s break was established and rolling along smoothly.

Behind, the field was working its way back up to the break to ensure the necessary bunch sprint.

The finishing circuits in Modesto were wild with many teams trying to assert dominance at the front, but in the end, it was once again Team Sky that managed the feat.

Henderson started the sprint from half a kilometer out, and no one could come around him.

A happy Greg Henderson.

Alex Dowsett congratulates his teammate.

JJ Haedo scans the damages on his teammate, Baden Cooke’s, body.

Jens Voigt rolled in late following a crash in the final circuits.

The day’s podium…a few familiar faces there.
