Race Report: Team Sky made it two wins in two days when Kiwi Greg Henderson took the win in Modesto after an impressively long sprint. Darrell Parks provides yet another great photo essay to take a look back at the day that was.

The crowds were big and enthusiastic, as always.


In Ione, the day’s break was established and rolling along smoothly.


Behind, the field was working its way back up to the break to ensure the necessary bunch sprint.




The finishing circuits in Modesto were wild with many teams trying to assert dominance at the front, but in the end, it was once again Team Sky that managed the feat.


Henderson started the sprint from half a kilometer out, and no one could come around him.
