Two neo-pro for LAMPRE-MERIDA
LAMPRE_MERIDA-squadra-sito1 Two young guns are going to join a team that counts on the youth.

Niccolò Bonifazio and Valerio Conti will be the two neo-pro that LAMPRE-MERIDA will launch in 2014 in the “pro world”: the team preceded many competitors in signing the two talents, guaranteeing important men for the future.

The twenty years old cyclists (both athletes born in 1993) had already worn blue-fuchsia-green kit in 2013, since they performed some races as trainees, an experience that was very useful for having a first touch with the team and future mates.

Bonifazio is a fast rouleur and he obtained 14 victories in two seasons in Under 23 category: 7 in 2012 and 7 in 2013.
After in July he had suffered a broken collarbone, he came back to races performing a very interesting final part of the season, during which he wore blue-fuchsia-green jersey Coppa Agostoni, della Tre Valli Varesine, della Bruxelles Cycling Classic e del Gp Costa degli Etruschi.

After very young performances in junior category, Valerio Conti obtained 5 victories in his unique year in Under 23.
He had the chance to show his qualities in pro cycling racing as trainee Gp Costa degli Etruschi, il Gp Peccioli-Coppa Sabatini and Japan Cup.

With Bonifazio and Conti, the 2014 roster of LAMPRE-MERIDA will rely on 11 cyclists under 25 years old: it’s a clear message of the will by the team to invest on youth and new enthusiasm.
