Tendinosis stops Horner
Lampre Merida Team f_chiari Chris Horner (photo Bettini) won’t take part in the 6th stage of Tirreno-Adriatico (Bucchianico-Porto Sant’Elpidio).

Doctor Beltemacchi from Team LAMPRE-MERIDA explaines that: “Horner is suffering for a tendinitis at the left Achilles tendon.
As jointly agreed, in order to avoid a worsening of the situation, Chris will quit the race”.

Horner, who was 11th in the overall classification, is out, so Ulissi is now 13th at 33″ to the 10th place of Kiserlovski.

In the next days the team’s medical staff is going to evaluate the best path to recovery.
