power2max focuses on Type S
Power2maxwhite power2max focuses on Type S to streamline production and meet demand – lowers prices by €150 / $150 on power2max Classic whilst stocks last.

POWER2MAX is focusing its second generation TYPE S line of power meters to meet demand and will discontinue production of its popular CLASSIC line in the coming months. Starting 1 August prices of the CLASSIC line of power meters are reduced
by €150 / $150 whilst stocks last.

The price reduction creates an unprecedented offer: the most simple to use (automatic zero offset calibration, no magnet, no recalibration needed) spider based power meter in the market that is also highly precise (±2%) and built to resist (temperature compensated, water proofed) starting at €590 / $729. Prices for the most popular models in Europe and North America are now:

• Power meter without cranks: €590 / $729
• FSA GOSSAMER: €690 / $749
• Rotor 3D: €790 / $949
• Rotor 3D+: €940 / $1099

“The decision to stop making the CLASSIC line has been a difficult one. Our customers love its reliability and the ease of use. However, we need to focus on TYPE S to meet demand,” says Nicolas Theopold, head of marketing and sales at power2max. “We are excited to get even more people to ride with power. At €590/$729 getting a full featured power meter has never been more affordable. Gone are the days power meters were reserved for professionals and only few amateurs. Whether you are training for your first cyclosportive or want to pace better during a triathlon, its now a viable option.”

Customers shouldn’t wait too long, as remaining numbers are limited and once a model runs out it will not come back in stock. Of course all CLASSIC power meters will be delivered with power2max’s 2-year transferrable warranty.
