Nippo-Vini Fantini to Colorado Classic, Arctic Race and Astana
Nippo-Vini Fantini team will be engaged in 3 different continents on the second week of August. In America with the Colorado Classic (2.HC), in Europe with the Artic Race of Norway (2.HC) and in Asia through the Astana Criterium dedicated to Michele Scarponi.

Just finished the Vuelta a Burgos and Tour of Utah and it’s already time to race for NIPPO Vini Fantini Team. 6 #OrangeBlue riders who has just finished the Tour of Utah will be again engaged in America at Colorado Classic, an 2.HC race category. The other part of the team will be divided among the Arctic Race of Norway (2.HC category level) and Astana Criterium dedicated to Michele Scarponi.

Marco Canola and Damiano Cunego will be the leaders respectively for American Race and European Race.



COLORADO CLASSIC - 10-13 AUGUST 2017
Starting on 10 of August the 1st edition of Colorado Classic, a 2.HC category race inside the American Tour. Each of the 4 stages is maded as a circuits, starting and finishing in the same location. The tour start in Colorado Springs, via Breckenridge and ending with the two final stages in Denver for a total of 503,5 kilometres and 6500 meters climb.

The #OrangeBlue leader will be Marco Canola how is in a very good condition after the results achieved on Tour of Utah. Are now 5 the victories for the Italian rider, demonstrating an important condition and ambition.

Alan Marangoni, Giacomo Berlato, Yuma Koishi and the stagiaire Damiano Cima will be the team worker with the responsibility to bring Marco Canola in the best situation to obtain important results.

Ivan Santaromita complete the team engaged on American Tour. The expert climber will be probably involved mostly in the stage 2 and 3, marked by an important climb.

Colorado Classic will not be easy especially for the high altitude that marked the stages, but we will do our best to obtain results. The riders feeling well and the circuit matched their characteristics, for that reason we want to honor every single stage with the goal to achieve important results.” BMC, Trek-Segafredo, Cannondale Drapac e UAE Emirates are the 4 world tour team that will take part in the Colorado Classic.

ARCTIC RACE OF NORWAY - 10-13 AUGUST 2017
5th edition for the Arctic Race of Norway, the prestigious 2.HC category race organized by ASO. The NIPPO Vini Fantini team selection is well balanced to ride the 4 stages (for a total of 687 kilometres).
The Leader Damiano Cunego and Alessandro Bisolti will be the riders chosen for the stage ending with a final climb. Good motivation for the #OrangeBlue leader; after his came back to the stage victoy at Tour of Qinghai Lake he will try to achieve an important result also in Norway. Eduard Grosu and Pierpaolo De Negri are designed as a riders for the stage ending with a final sprint. The Romanian time trial champion will take part at the Arctic Race of Norway also after the crash during the last European Championship. The start line is completed with the stagiaires Joan Bou and Hiroki Nishimura, free to take part of the first action on the stage.

CRITERIUM IN ASTANA - 12 AUGUST 2017
On Saturday 12 of August, 4 #OrangeBlue riders will take part at the Astana criterium dedicated to the memory of Michele Scarponi. Riccardo Stacchiotti, Nicolas Marini, Iuri Filosi and Nicola Bagioli are the riders designed that, with other important riders, will pay tribute to one of the most beloved cyclist in the group.
