Lampre-Marida in Japan
Richeze-lato-pedala-sito Thanks to the support of many Japanese fans and of the sponsors of LAMPRE-MERIDA, Maximiliano Richeze (photo archive Bettini) could not fail in the International Criterium in Sakai, foretaste of Tour of Japan.

At the end od 10 laps of 3 km each, Argentinian cyclist won the final massive sprint on Merlo, valorizing the help received by team mates Palini.
During the central laps, Favili led the race in a breakway.

In the Japanese afternoon, Tour of Japan started officially and the riders took part in a 2,65 km time trial in Daisen Park.
The team of sport director Vicino obtained the 7th place by Palini (+6″4 to the winner Nishitani), the 9th by Richeze (+6″6) and the 11th by Favilli (8″).

“It was pleasing to begin Japanese experience obtaining a victory that made all our supporters and sponsor happy – sport director Vicino commented – The opponents’ dedication is at the top, but we’re ready to face them and to get to important results”.
