SARIS Gran Fondo Rack: A WINNER!
After a flurry of last minute entries that had the PEZ servers hot enough to fry sausages, a lucky winner was selected from a bubbling vat of rack-winning hopefuls. We’re pleased to congratulate Paul Ribich of Denver CO as the winner of the Saris Gran Fondo rack!

No matter how many awesome prizes we give away to our faithful readers, the reaction is pretty much the same – shock, denial, acceptance, and giddy school-girl like laughter. And the winners are pretty happy too.

Paul has been a longtime reader of PEZ, and payed us the compliment of having the best Roadside coverage of racing anywhere. (Obviously a man of discerning tastes~)

While he currently uses a roof rack for transporting his bikes, he’s looking forward to the easier loading, and more aero-profile the Gran Fondo rack affords.

The Gran Fondo rack is the newest model by the rack specialists at Saris. It’s an easier – and more stylish – way to transport your bike. Securely fitting two bikes to the rear of your car, the Gran Fondo cradles your bike vertically between the tail lights and license plate. And, its aerodynamic design creates a paceline effect, so you burn less gas too.

Saris Cycling Group wants you to be able to ride your bike. More often. They make their products in Madison, WI, and back all of their racks with a lifetime warranty because they believe cycling is a lifetime activity. They decided years ago to dedicate their efforts to making the best racks in the world for the rear of the car, where they are easier to install, easier to load bicycles, and more fuel efficient.

The innovative new Gran Fondo rack from Saris was European designed, and uniquely positions 2 bikes vertically behind your vehicle. Its lightweight aluminum frame is incredibly secure, attaches easily to your vehicle and never touches your bicycle frame. And, it’s super convenient – you can still open your trunk with the rack on your vehicle.

All from the same company which makes Saris racks, Saris Parking and Storage Solutions, CycleOps PowerTap, CycleOps Trainers and CycleOps Indoor Cycles.

By cyclists for cyclists.

Thanks again to everyone who entered, and to Saris for supplying such an awesome prize. Stay tuned for more great promos coming your way on PEZ.
