ZEROZ Thin Wallets
PEZ Sez: I’ve been a fan of the thin wallet for some years now, ie: travel light, travel right. So the ZeroZ line of thin wallets from the Columbus Ohio-based brand caught my eye. The velcro wallet of my college days is a distant memory, but as a man, I appreciate finer accessories, and ZeroZ uses real leather across their line. Offered in 3 thicknesses (er… thinnesses), each wallet is designed to hold just the cards you need, and some folded bills for, say, tipping the valet. Each one features a plastic tab to hold your most-used card, and the cash tucks on the back thanks to a cool wide rubber strap. Available in a variety of finishes, it’s the ideal way to slim down (they fit neatly into a jersey pocket too), while upping your style game.
Prices: US$35 – $50

A French Dessert With A Cycling History At Portland’s Little T
And now for something completely different, the Paris-Brest dessert from famous Portland baker, Little T. Originally created in France in 1891 for the Paris-Brest bicycle race, the dessert was even designed to represent a bicycle wheel. Little T’s version comes with a puff pastry shell filled with espresso butter cream with black pepper, salted caramel pastry cream, whipped cream, and candied pecans.
It might not be what cyclists immediately think of nowadays when they’re looking for a “food as fuel” snack before a big race, but cyclists back then liked it for just that reason. http://littletbaker.com/ 2600 SE DIVISION ST @ SE 26TH AVE PORTLAND, OREGON 97202 (503) 238-3458 email@example.com
