    Vuelta a Espana - Stage 3

    Race Report: The summit finish of stage 3 of the 2016 Vuelta a España, allegedly, has the steepest bit of road ever ridden in the Spanish Grand Tour and that short piece of road showed the weaknesses in some of the top riders. There was a surprise solo win though, a good day for the French.

    Race Report: Gianni Meersman emerged from a pack of non-sprinters to grab a first Grand Tour stage win on a slow opening day of the 2016 Vuelta a España. The leaders red jersey stayed with Team Sky, but is now on the shoulders of ex-World champion Michal Kwiatkowski.
