    Race Report: Danny Van Poppel puncture with 10 kilometers to go and rejoined the peloton without the help of his Trek teammates, took a couple deep breaths and then won the sprint at the end of Stage 12 into the Catalan town of Lleida. Nice win for Trek and the overall is unchanged.

    Race Report: On a horrendously hard stage, it was a Spaniard who took the win but the big news was that his team leader had made the move of the race and would take the overall. Mikel Landa finished with a well-earned victory; Fabio Aru wrestled the Red Jersey from Dumoulin while Chris Froome suffered horribly having crashed.

    Race Report: On a day that was expected to go to the sprinters, it all came down to a messy, scrappy finish with a young rider from the best young team of the year taking his first professional win. Kristian Sbaragli of MTN-Qhubeka outfoxed everyone and gave the African squad yet another famous win.

    Aug 31, 2015 - Tom Dumoulin surprised everyone and himself on Sunday with his climbing form. He won the stage and took back the overall lead from Esteban Chaves.     Roadside: After his stage 8 finish in Murcia we sent Al Hamilton to cover the full stage from Torrevieja to the climb of the Cumbre del Sol, the climb he previewed earlier this week. The start was busy, but the final climb of the Alto de Puig Llorença was just crazy. It was a tough day, but a good one.

    Race report: Giant-Alpecin's Tom Dumoulin produced a gravity-defying performance to take the biggest win of his career on the Alto de Puig Llorença. The big man from the flat lands ground away from the star climbers on a fearsome finishing ascent, and then responded when he seemed to have been blown away by Chris Froome.

    Race Preview: The Vuelta a España is passing through Valencia, so we had to send our PEZ man in Spain, Al Hamilton, on his bike to reconnoiter the finalé of stage 9 and the summit finish on the ultra steep Alto de Puig Llorença. It is believed he cheated on most of the parcour, but there is photographic evidence that he rode to the finish line.

    Roadside: Stage 8 of the Vuelta finished in the town of Murcia, not too far from where PEZman; Al Hamilton lives. So we had to prize him from his laptop and send him ‘Roadside’ for some fresh air and let him see a bike race in the flesh for a change.

    Race Report: A massive crash caused chaos in the bunch, then more crashes dashed hopes of stage winning hopefuls - this day was one OMG moment after another. Trek's Jasper Suyben won a free for all sprint and Chavez stayed hot in the red leader's jersey.

    Race Report: Orica-GreenEDGE did it again with one of its ‘Young Guns’ and this time is was Esteban Chaves who kicked his way to another stage win and to recapture the overall lead from Tom Dumoulin in 3rd place. Another perfect opportunity for an Orica man to swoop to victory as the Vuelta throws up yet more excitement.
