US Pro Champs Preview: The Exhibit!
Philly is psyched to have the Wachovia US Professional Championships just around the corner on June 6th. During my morning ritual for 20 oz of coffee and a Philly soft pretzel I found an exhibit highlighting the last twenty years of the race. Check out the photos…

First, a bicycle from my first team, Team Hill USA, was up on display. This was the team run by Jerry Casale, the patron saint of Philadelphia cycling and Chief Operating Officer of Threshold Sports. Threshold is responsible for putting on the Wachovia Cycling Series…

Next, giant pictures of every winner, original race posters, and even a Mavic support car were present in the display. Local bike manufacturer Elite and Amoroso Pro-Team garb (bread producer of course) was on a cheesy mannequin. It was too cheesy for me to take a pic of, sorry.

The exhibit will be on display from May 24th to June 4th. Just look for the two big buildings in Philly and it’s between them. The chance to experience twenty years of racing is definitely worth coming to.

One Liberty Place is located at 16th and Chestnut Streets in downtown Philadelphia. Come by for lunch or to shop and enjoy this free event. If you’re in town and you e-mail me I’ll come down and say hi. I’m working pretty high up.
